The PLO leader Yasar Arafat is said to be close to death.Though there are conflicting reports concerning this,the French hospital released a statement stating he ws brain dead and it was only a matter of time until the inevitable.The Israeli leader Ariel Sharon has refused permission for Arafat to be buried in Jerusalem a traditional burial area for Jewish kings.
Arafat wanted to be buried in Jerusalem this would ensure that the city could be claimed by by the Palastiniens
we can be sure of 1 thing all hell will now break loose in the West Bank and Gaza and no one will be there to help.

Arafat has apparently emerged from his coma and is communicating with his doctors they should have a diagnosis in 3 days.

...Ah, Thanks for the 2nd Post as all the News here was that one) brain dead and refusal to remove from life-supports till Buriel ground could be located as needs to be buried within a 24-hour time span & too, successor(s) to follow/put into place with a working arrangement/peaceful and two) was undergoing various tests and apprently has had "numbing" meds given {forget actual report} only that they, the meds had like adverse affect and threw him into a coma that was thot to be temporary. CG, is English your first language? I've just had a dozen Shakespearean scholars trying to translate that message and they could make neither head nor tale of it. I tell you, CG, I've read plenty of complicated books in my time - Nicholas Nickleby, Martin Chuzzlewit, Jane Eyre, War and Peace, etc. and they're all easier to understand than your ramblings.
